Kimi (aka The Button Bandit) began her ceramics career at Mendocino College in Northern California, majoring in the ceramic arts and eventually acquiring her technical master of ceramics certificate in 2018.

Through her program, she was tasked with the responsibility of managing and firing the raku kiln. She continues to apply that education to her own personal firing.

In spring of 2019 she opened her own studio in Eugene where she’s been honing her craft ever since.
